Northwestern Region 7 Branch
Our Story
In 2005, Northwest Community Bank and Northwestern Regional District 7 joined forces and won a state-sponsored $72,000 Carl Perkins Rural Grant to establish an actual branch of our bank at the school. It would be Connecticut’s first bank branch in a public high school operated in conjunction with an academic curriculum to develop financial literacy in high school.
